A shop filled with exceptional men's vintage clothing.
Shirts, jackets, suites, ties, manly accessories and more!
This is the perfect shop to find the ideal gift for that great man in your life!

I spoke with the most wonderful owners of this amazing shop. A tight knit family with hearts of gold! William Z, Nan, Kristen & family!
There shop is incredible, and they're story is so encouraging and heart warming!
From what they love about selling men's vintage clothing to how they got their start on Etsy!

What do you love about selling men's vintage clothing?

ArmorOfModernMen
What do we love about selling men's vintage clothing? We love that question!!!! WZ loves the variety of decades of fashion offered in vintage that is not available via retail shopping. Nan loves how the classics are so timeless and how the great quality of vintage means great value, affordable style. We hear wonderful stories from our customers of how an item might be just what they wanted for a vintage style wedding and photo shoot or others write of how an item is a beloved reminder of their father's favorite tweed jacket. Some customers love our vintage clothing because they represent their own individual style, some retro, rockabilly, mod, preppy or high fashion vintage designer. The great thing about selling vintage menswear on Etsy is the vast variety we get to offer our customers, world wide, at affordable prices for the best value.
Also, buying vintage is going green so it is totally eco-friendly.

What makes your shop different for others that sell vintage clothing?

ArmorOfModernMen
What makes our vintage fashion shop different? Our Etsy shop is carefully curated for exceptional value. We try to offer the most exceptional style, variety and quality of vintage menswear and unisex fashion. Our favorites are fine wool suits, tweed blazers and corduroy and wool trousers. We'll drive miles out of the way for some hounds tooth wool trousers and mid-century cardigans. We'll turn around for a fun and funky retro sweater. We will search high and low for a smart fedora or Stetson. Vintage fashion gets us excited and our enthusiasm comes across in our shop to our customers. They share our passion.
We excel in customer service, often shipping the same day we get an order. Each package comes in tissue and string with a hand made card of thanks. We love our customers and get a lot of repeat business.

Do you sell vintage clothing by seasonal picks or for all occasions?

ArmorOfModernMen
We are worldwide sellers so we stock items for all seasons, all weather. We do like to offer as much as we can that is appropriate for oncoming holidays and gift giving. Vintage stock by nature tends to vary widely by availability and is almost always one-of-a-kind. We encourage our customers to buy an item as soon as they decide they want it. We rarely can offer a "like" item.
We do offer gift cards in various amounts and offer custom amounts, as well.

How did you get your start on etsy.com?

ArmorOfModernMen
Our first shop on Etsy is a family vintage and hand made home decor shop, TheVelvetBranch.Etsy.com. That came about due to Nan losing her long term job and getting cancer. Etsy offered her an alternative to the standard corporate career. Armor of Modern Men is a branch off from that shop. WZ's passion for vintage fashion gave him insight into this opportunity. Nan takes the pictures and helps with packaging, sister Kristin is our stylist, and everyone helps with the modeling including friends and family. WZ is the main model and the most familiar face in the shop. Join us on Facebook, Twitter (OfModernMen), Tumblr and Google+ for fun fashion updates and tips as well as the latest listings and discounts.
We want to thank our customers, our followers and Gina for this particular opportunity.

Stop by Armor Of Modern Men and check it out yourself! You will be blown away with the immense variety of items to choose from,
great styles, and amazing gifts for the holidays!
Make sure you add this shop to your favorites! That way you can refer back for birthdays, anniversaries and more!
The perfect manly gifts!

Thanksgiving Cornucopia Treats

Cornucopia or "horn of plenty" is known as one of the great symbols of Thanksgiving. This cute twist on a cornucopia is perfect for anyone ages 1-101!

These adorable treats can be used as part of a table setting, as a class gift, or as a parting favor as people leave your Thanksgiving table.

Materials Needed:

Small waffle cones

M & M's, dried fruit, round cereal, raisins, jelly beans, cereal squares, trail mix or whatever goodies you'd like to stuff your cornucopia with!

Rubber bands

6 inch cut squares of cellophane/cling wrap

Festive Ribbon

Here's what you do:

1. Soak the tip of the waffle cone in warm water for about 20 seconds. Put a little water on the inside of the cone too. This will soften up the tip so you can bend it into the traditional cornucopia shape.

2. Remove from water and microwave the wet waffle cone for about 20 seconds.

3. Roll the softened tip of the cone around a clean pencil and hold it in place for about 20 seconds.

4. After the cone has hardened and dried completely, fill with the goodies you've chosen!

5. Cover the opening with plastic wrap, use the rubber band to secure the wrap, and tie a ribbon around to hide the rubber band.

You can modify these however you'd like:
Use fruit inside and keep them in the fridge until serving!
Fill with a candy corn or hershey's kisses!
Add a Name Tag to them and use as Thanksgiving Name Cards/Place Settings!

Southern Style Breakfast Pizza

This simple recipe is great for cold morning or cold nights! We love breakfast for dinner around our house and this yummy breakfast pizza always hits the spot. This can be popped in the oven on Thanksgiving morning and you'll be set to watch the parade! Here's the scoop!

What you need:
2 packages of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (other brands work great too)
1 lb of breakfast sausage (browned in a skillet and drained on a paper towel)
1 cup shreded hashbrowns or potatoes o'brien (I use the o'brien because of the onions and peppers)
1 cup shreded cheese (use your favorite or colby jack like I do)
3 uncooked eggs (beat them in a bowl with salt and pepper)
Parmasan Cheese

Here's what you do:
On a foil lined baking sheet or pizza pan use the cresent rolls to make a pizza crust. Press the triangles together and make sure to make raised sides so that all your ingredients stay on the pizza.

Add your browned sausage, hashbrowns, cheese to the top of your pizza crust. Then pour beaten eggs over the top of the entire pizza. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese!

In a 350 degrees preheated oven cook pizza for 15-20 minutes or until eggs are set and cresent roll edges of your pizza are browned.

Remove from oven, let cool 5 mins and slice with a pizza cutter!

Please feel free to add any yummy ingredients you want! The more the merrier. Try mushrooms, spinich, turkey sausage or cheddar cheese!

Such an easy recipe and oh so yummy! This would be great to cut into squares for a potluck dinner, take to school for a Teacher breakfast or serve to family and friends on the morning of a holiday.

Each pizza makes about 7-8 regular sized pizza triangles! Try it and let us know how yours came out!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

keep your kids busy this November with these super cute Thanksgiving crafts! Give them some time to think about what they are thankful for! Plus there's a fun bow craft for moms at the bottom! They are adorable!

What You'll Need: Two paper bowls, a toilet paper tube, glue, construction paper, markers, scissors, paint, a paintbrush, toothpicks and a small condiment cup (this will be your turkey's hat!)

How to Do It: Paint the bowls and toilet paper roll any color you'd like and let dry. Glue the rims of the bowls together, then glue the roll to one of the bowls; this creates the body. Make a face for your turkey by first drawing eyes with marker. Give him a beak by folding a small square of construction paper in half diagonally and then cutting along the line to make the beak 3D! Glue on the beak and let dry. Then, draw a gobbler with a red marker. Trace your kid's handprint to use as the turkey's feet. Cut out feather shapes from the construction paper. Glue the backsides of the feathers, sandwich a toothpick (but keep one end showing) between them, and glue it all together. Have your kids write what they're thankful for on each of the feathers and stick each into the bowls. Trace a circle, wider than the diameter of the condiment cup and cut out (this will be the hat's brim). Glue the cup to the brim and there you go! A very thankful turkey. From: Crafts-for-All-Seasons

What You'll Need: Cork board or poster board, construction paper, scissors, glue, and marker or colored pencil.

How to Do It
: Cut a piece of brown construction paper into the shape of a tree trunk with branches. Glue the tree trunk to the poster board. Help your kiddos trace their hands onto the construction paper. In each hand, let them write things they are thankful for (or write for them). Next, cut out the hands, these will be the "leaves" of the tree. Glue the hands along the trunk to make a tree shape. From: Crafts by Amanda

What You’ll Need: buttons, ribbon, hair clips, orange and red craft foam (or felt), googly eyes, hot glue gun or strong craft glue

How to Do It: Start by gluing two buttons onto the wide end of a hair clip to make the turkey’s body and head. Cut the ribbons into small pieces, and fold each in half. Glue these ribbon loops to the back of the hair clip and press down gently until dry. Cut out the tiny beak and feet out of orange foam and the waddle out of red. Glue these features and the googly eyes to the buttons to create a festive accessory for your little miss to wear in her cute Thanksgiving hair-do. From: Silly Eagle Books
