I am the Mom who needs a bit of peace and quiet while making dinner, so here is a simple and easy craft to do with the kids for some quiet time during dinner prep.
I love all things fall, especially the colors! This craft requires just a couple of items and some curious little fingers!
What you will need:
Acrylic (Washable) Craft Paint in Fall colors: Orange, Yellow, Red, Brown
Fall Bare Tree (Printable Link at the bottom of this blog)
Little Fingers
Paper Plates
Put a bit of paint on the paper plates and allow kids to finger paint leaves in fall colors onto the bare fall tree! These are so cute when done and if your kids are anything like mine, they love to paint!
Hang these around the house for some fall decor or frame them and give them as gifts to grandparents!
**Additional note: If you do not want to use a pre-printed tree just paint the child's hand and wrist brown and apply to paper to make a handprint tree trunk! (This WILL be messy!)
